Women's Hall of Fame ClassicAnyone who has seen the film “A League of Their Own” knows about the All American Girls Professional Baseball League. You can join 15 former members of this league at the rededication ceremonies of Simmons Field, where the league’s Kenosha Comets played more than 50 years ago. Bristol Renaissance FaireThe Bristol Renaissance Faire opens its nine-weekend season, re-creating the day in 1574 when Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth visited the English hamlet of Bristol. Interact with strolling minstrels, swashbuckling swordsmen, rope-walkers, jesters, jousting knights, glass-blowers and many more unique characters! New this year is RenQuest, live action fantasy-play for gamers and other adventurers.
