The Bugs, a local band, will provide live entertainment from 12-2 p.m. The Bugs play classic Beatles tunes, 50's doo-wop, and pop hits. Free small pumpkins – donated by Jerry Smith's Pumpkin Farm – will be distributed to the first 200 children in attendance. Craft supplies for decorating pumpkins also will be available.
The Mayor's Youth Commission will offer children's games and prizes free of charge.
Members of the Kenosha Art Association will offer face painting for children at no charge. KAA members also will demonstrate pumpkin carving techniques.
This is the second year for the city-sponsored Fall Festival, which ties in with Second Saturday events in Downtown Kenosha. Library Park is a new location for the 2013 event.
