Photos Needed for Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau Contest
Kenosha, WI (June 4, 2008) - The Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (KACVB) is in search of Kenosha Area snapshots that reflect the community’s festive and colorful atmosphere. The Kenosha Area Picture Perfect Photo Contest is sponsored by the KACVB. It is an opportunity for area residents to show visitors what a wonderful place the Kenosha Area is, no matter the season.
Each photo submitted has the chance to be used in various KACVB publications and on its web site, to promote the Kenosha Area as a fun and exciting place for out-of-town visitors. At the end of the year, all photos submitted during 2008 will be judged. The top photos will be awarded dinner for two at an area restaurant. Photos will be judged based on content and quality. An entry form must be submitted with each photo.
Throughout the year, the KACVB is accepting photos of recreational activities, landmarks, nature, festivals & events, and attractions. Like flying a kite in Kennedy Park, windsurfing on Lake Andrea, listening to an outdoor concert or biking along Lake Michigan.
Anyone is eligible to enter the contest, however the photos must be taken in Kenosha County. For a complete set of the contest rules and an entry form, log on to the Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau’s web site at www.KenoshaCVB.com, e-mail mjumisko@kenoshacvb.com, visit the KACVB office at 812 – 56th St. in downtown Kenosha (Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), or call (262) 654-7307 ext. 13.
