Kenosha, WI (July 11, 2011) – This weekend, the Kenosha Area will shine on the small screen once again, as its newest episode of Discover Wisconsin Television re-airs. The episode highlights some of our community’s best attractions, shopping and recreation. The Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (KACVB) funded the production of the show, produced by Discover MediaWorks, as a way to market the Kenosha Area to travelers throughout the Midwest.
The Kenosha Area episode will be broadcast July 16-17. It will air locally on Channel 6 (Milwaukee’s Fox6) on Sunday, July 17 at 10 a.m., and on Chicago’s Comcast SportsNet on Saturday, July 16 at 10 a.m.
Discover Wisconsin TV and Radio are weekly broadcast programs that promote Wisconsin vacation destinations. This is the Kenosha’s second episode; the first episode aired in 2006.
This second episode originally aired in May 2010. It’s available in DVD format at: Kenosha History Center, Kenosha Public Museum, Civil War Museum, Dinosaur Discovery Museum, and Andrea’s.
