New Destination for Families in the Kenosha Area: Monkey Joe's

Kenosha, WI (April 6, 2010) - Come, monkey around in the Kenosha Area! Just go bananas! Located midway between Chicago and Milwaukee, the Kenosha Area is known for Jelly Belly Center, Electric Streetcars, an indoor water park at RecPlex, four museums, and more family-friendly activities. And now a new one has been added to the itinerary: Monkey Joe’s.

Whether hot or cold, rain or sunshine outdoors, Monkey Joe's offers indoor fun all four seasons of the year. It’s an inflatable play center for children ages 2-12. No reservations are needed to enjoy the wall-to-wall inflatable slides, jumps, obstacle courses, and arcade games. There is a separate play area for toddlers, and an adult area with TV and free wireless Internet.

Monkey Joe’s is a safe and fun place for kids to just be kids. They can be active and put their excessive energy to good use. There is a concession area, with pizza that is drawing rave reviews from customers. A money-saving frequent user card is available for walk-in customers. Separate party rooms mean parents can sit back and relax during their child’s party, while Monkey Joe’s provides the invitations, entertainment, food, and set-up and clean-up services. (Parents can bring their own cake.) Monkey Joe’s sanitizes all the inflatable surfaces with Swisher Hygiene, which eliminates up to 99.9 percent of the most common germs.

Kenosha County resident Donna Miller opened the franchise, the third in Wisconsin, in January of this year. She was laid off from her job two years ago and was looking for places to spend time with her then three-year-old son. “I liked the idea that he got a lot of activity instead of just playing arcade games,” Miller states.

Located at 4237 Green Bay Road in Kenosha, Monkey Joe’s is open Sun.-Thurs. 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Fri.-Sat. 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Visit www.monkeyjoes.com/kenosha or call (262) 764-3866 for more information.
