HARLEY PARADE

If you’re a Harley rider, then we want YOU to join in this THUNDEROUS Harley parade from I-94 all the way to the Lake Michigan shore! Back in 2003, there were over 1,300 Harleys in the Harbor Thunder Parade, and 52nd Street was lined with hundreds of residents cheering the riders on. The parade will be escorted and managed by the Kenosha Police Department and the Kenosha H.O.G. Chapter. Upon arrival at Harbor Thunder, H.O.G. Members will direct riders to preferred parking for all parade participants.   

 

Parade Schedule

4:00 p.m. Staging begins at Uke’s Harley-Davidson (I-94 & Hwy. K, Kenosha)
6:00 p.m. Parade steps off from Uke’s and travels East on Hwy. 158 / 52nd Street to Harbor Thunder site at lakefront.
6:20 p.m. Approximate arrival time of first motorcycles to Harbor Thunder.

 

Parade Route

1. Start at Uke’s Harley-Davidson (I-94 East Frontage Road & Hwy. K / 60th Street)
2. Exit to Hwy. K / 60th Street; proceed East
3. Turn North onto Hwy. H / 88th Avenue; proceed North
4. Turn East onto Hwy. 158 / 52nd Street
5. Proceed East to the Lakefront at 6th Avenue
6. Turn South onto 6th Avenue
7. Turn East onto 54th Street
8. Proceed East to Harbor Thunder site at 54th Street & Lake Michigan (East of First Avenue).
9. Watch for Kenosha H.O.G. and Kenosha Police to direct to parking.

 

Traffic Notice

North / South streets and business entrances/exits that cross Hwy. 158 / 52nd Street will be closed briefly and intermittently by the Kenosha Police Department during the parade to allow safe passage for motorcycle riders.  

54th and 56th Streets will be closed to regular traffic at First Avenue, just East of the Kenosha Public Museum and Civil War Museum (“Ring Road”). Eastbound traffic using 54th or 56th Streets can use First Avenue in lieu of Ring Road to return Westbound. Only motorcycle and pedestrian traffic will be permitted through onto Ring Road.  Southport Marina will be fully accessible for Marina members.
