Be A Hometown Host

Are you a member of a club or association that holds state or regional meetings? Do you serve on a board or planning committee? Does your company hold annual meetings or staff retreats? Are you involved in a sports or recreation team looking for tournament locations?  With the Kenosha Area CVB’s Hometown Host program, YOU can play a role in bringing events HOME to the Kenosha Area, and help our local economy at the same time!

As a resident of the greater Kenosha Area, you know what a great community this is to live in and how many wonderful things there are to see and do here.  So why not show it off and invite others to experience it too?  Tourism is a major economic driver in Kenosha County, bringing over $224.6 million in visitor spending during 2007 and supporting more than 5,200 jobs.  So whether you know 50 or 5,000 people looking for a place to hold their next event, we’re ready to help plan the perfect event.

Our professional staff is ready and able to help by researching and finding the perfect venue, assisting with marketing and promotion of the event, attendance building and getting media coverage. And best of all, our services are free!  The Kenosha Area is home to an array of hotels, conference centers, unique historic properties, and sports complexes… if you have an event, chances are we have a place to host it!

So let us help you be a Hometown Host!  All you need to do is simply contact us and let us know about your group or organization’s event.  And you can stay as involved as you like in the planning process… you are, after all, the Hometown Host!  Or simply let us take it from there… it’s what we do!
