Carthage College

Located on the picturesque shore of Lake Michigan, Carthage College features a multitude of athletic facilities to host most sporting events.

• The newly opened N. E. Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center is a $23-million, 156,000-square-foot facility, which includes a field house with a 200-meter, 6-lane track and four multi-use courts for basketball, tennis and volleyball. The TARC also features a 25-yard by 40-meter, 16-lane competition swimming pool with state-of-the-art timing equipment and seating for 250 spectators; a 25-foot climbing wall; a 5,000-square-foot
fitness center; and more.
• Elsewhere on campus, you will find Carthage’s Physical Education Center featuring basketball courts, a weight room and classrooms.
• Outdoor facilities on the Carthage campus include Art Keller Field, a world-class facility featuring AstroPlay® turf and home to many football and soccer games and track meets.
• The Smeds Tennis Center features 10 hard surface tennis courts, a club house, and social center.
