
“America's Wild West” is the theme for the two-mile parade. The Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade has been entertaining thousands of people for more than 40 years with award winning marching bands, floats, unique performance groups, motor corps, clowns and more. Look for cowboy acts and miniature horses this year as well!
The monthly folk music gatherings are open to the public with all abilities welcome. Music sheets are provided. Participants may bring an acoustic instrument or just come to sing. Beginners are very welcome. There is no fee, but donations to the Anderson Arts Center are encouraged.
Join the Kenosha History Center for an evening of music, beverages, and great chili. Chili tasting will be from 6 p.m. until it’s gone. Taste and vote for your favorite chili for the People’s Choice Traveling Trophy. A panel of judges will also pick their favorite for the Judges Choice Trophy. All proceeds go to help preserve Kenosha County history.

This is Kenosha’s largest gourmet food and wine tasting event. Started in 1995, this event showcases locally owned restaurants and offers a wide variety of wine tasting opportunities. There are also samples of beer and non-alcoholic products. Restaurants feature samples of specialty dishes or new menu items at this popular annual event.

The Southern Wisconsin All Airborne Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division Association hosts its 10th annual car show to raise money for our wounded warriors and their families. Show car fee is $10.00, spectators are free.
Commemorating the 150th anniversary of the summer campaigns of 1863: Gettysburg, Vicksburg, and Port Hudson. Advance registration is required. Cost: $60/$50 Friends of the Museum. Includes lunch.
The Bike Shop at Southport Rigging takes group rides from Harborside Common Grounds (5159 - 6th Ave.) in Kenosha to a coffee shop in Zion, IL every Saturday morning at 8 a.m. It is a weekly 26 mile ride, starting in late March and stopping when it snows in November. The ride is mostly flat and suitable for all levels of riders. No sign up necessary, just show up. If you can't make it one week, feel free to come the next.
