This free concert series is a summer tradition, and 2013 marks its 12th anniversary! So push away from your desk and come to the lakefront for a foot-tapping, music-filled lunch. Sandwiches and soft drinks will be available to purchase, but feel free to bring your picnic lunch or dinner if you prefer. This event is on Kenosha's electric streetcar line! In the event of rain, the concert will be canceled.
Fireworks will light up the sky beginning about 9:30 pm. The display, presented by Walgreens, is launched from the east end of HarborPark, 56th Street and First Ave., and it can be viewed from many areas along Kenosha's lakefront.

“America's Wild West” is the theme for the two-mile parade. The Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade has been entertaining thousands of people for more than 40 years with award winning marching bands, floats, unique performance groups, motor corps, clowns and more.

A weekend full of living history encampments, special tours, family activities, educational programs, and musical and theatrical performances.
The monthly folk music gatherings are open to the public with all abilities welcome. Music sheets are provided. Participants may bring an acoustic instrument or just come to sing. Beginners are very welcome. There is no fee, but donations to the Anderson Arts Center are encouraged.
Join the Kenosha History Center for an evening of music, beverages, and great chili. Chili tasting will be from 6 p.m. until it’s gone. Taste and vote for your favorite chili for the People’s Choice Traveling Trophy. A panel of judges will also pick their favorite for the Judges Choice Trophy. All proceeds go to help preserve Kenosha County history.

This is Kenosha’s largest gourmet food and wine tasting event. Started in 1995, this event showcases locally owned restaurants and offers a wide variety of wine tasting opportunities. There are also samples of beer and non-alcoholic products. Restaurants feature samples of specialty dishes or new menu items at this popular annual event.
Themed activities in Hedberg Library take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Families are welcome to use Hedberg Library from 6 to 9 p.m, the TARC from 6 to 9 p.m, or the pool from 7 to 9 p.m.
Carthage hosts Family Fun Nights for the community on most Friday evenings during the school year. Families can enjoy fun and educational activities in Hedberg Library, browse the collection in the Center for Children's Literature, use the library computers, or swim and play basketball in the TARC.
Enjoy a festive evening of Civil War-era dance, music, sweets and beverages. Dances will be called by Dance Mistress Patricia Lynch of the West Side Victorian Dancers, and live music provided by Frogwater.
A free family event sponsored by the Friends of the Museums at the Kenosha Public Museum (5500 First Ave.),Civil War Museum (5400 First Ave.), and Dinosaur Discovery Museum (5608 Tenth Ave.). Wear your costume to this free family event!
