Lose the Shoes (LTS) will bring a positive, interactive sports festival that showcases Kenosha’s lakefront and features family fun and entertainment for every age! Whether you’re a professional athlete, a weekend warrior, or just someone who likes watching others compete, this event has something for everyone.


A Fly-In, Drive-In Open House. Wings & Wheels is a family event located at Kenosha Regional Airport. Bring your friends and family to enjoy the aircraft, automobiles, and food! There is free admittance and parking for visitors.
Model trains of all sizes will be running and displayed throughout the Kenosha Public Museum (5500 First Ave.) and Civil War Museum (5400 First Ave.). Free and open to the public. Sponsored by the G-Scalers Model Train Club.
Racing of IRA Outlaw sprints, mini-sprints, street stocks, modifieds, bandit 4's and other track events, May through September. Visit listed website or call listed track hot line for most up-to-date schedule.
Presented by the Kenosha Sportfishing & Conservation Association. This event is free and includes: lure selection, casting, bait selection, fly tying, DNR Ecology, catch and release, and fish cleaning. For kids ages 4 thru 12 with an adult. No pre-registration.

Wilmot Mountain Flea Market, Inc. is an all outdoor flea market. We are proud to be the largest flea market in Kenosha County and in the Chain O’Lakes area, with 150,000 sq. ft. sales space for over 400 vendors!

Come walk the trails, watch and listen to migrating birds, shop at the Two Sisters Boutique, and enjoy a hearty breakfast of pancakes, 100% pure maple syrup, sausage, fresh fruit and beverages. Tickets in advance $5 / at the door $7. In Kenosha, purchase tickets at Hawthorn Hollow, Andrea’s, and Suburban Lawn and Garden Center.

This free concert series is a summer tradition, and 2013 marks its 12th anniversary! So push away from your desk and come to the lakefront for a foot-tapping, music-filled lunch. Sandwiches and soft drinks will be available to purchase, but feel free to bring your picnic lunch or dinner if you prefer. This event is on Kenosha's electric streetcar line! In the event of rain, the concert will be canceled.
Fireworks will light up the sky beginning about 9:30 pm. The display, presented by Walgreens, is launched from the east end of HarborPark, 56th Street and First Ave., and it can be viewed from many areas along Kenosha's lakefront.

“America's Wild West” is the theme for the two-mile parade. The Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade has been entertaining thousands of people for more than 40 years with award winning marching bands, floats, unique performance groups, motor corps, clowns and more.
